Empowering women throughout the world is at the core of what Days for Girls does.
Enterprise Projects do that, through providing women with the tools they need to meet hygiene needs in their own communities.
Days for Girls is currently working in the following regions:
Africa
Days for Girls launched its award-winning flagship Enterprise Project in Uganda in 2013. Now, Days for Girls has 2 Established Centers in Kampala, Uganda and in Accra, Ghana, and 1 Emerging Center located in Grahamstown, South Africa.
We also have Certified Micro-Enterprises in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia, as well as several Emerging Micro-Enterprises throughout the continent.

Asia & the Pacific
Days for Girls currently has 1 Regional Center in Asia & the Pacific, located in Kathmandu, Nepal. And, we have Certified Micro-Enterprises operating in both Nepal & the Philippines, with emerging Micro-Enterprise Projects throughout the region.

Latin America
Days for Girls currently has an Emerging DfG Center located in Georgetown, Guyana. The Guyana Center is currently working on growing staff capacity and increasing local production of DfG Kits. And this year, the Center will begin to offer DfG Trainings & Micro-Enterprise support throughout Guyana.
We also have a certified Micro-Enterprise located in Haiti, with emerging Micro-Enterprises located throughout Central & South America.

Middle East
Days for Girls Enterprise Programming in the Middle East is new as of 2016. Currently, Days for Girls has one project in Lebanon, which focuses on providing menstrual hygiene education & programming to Syrian & Palestinian Refugees. Days for Girls is currently investigating the usage of the Enterprise Model to better serve refugees living in Lebanon.

Sponsor a Local Enterprise
Sponsor a local enterpise to support the sustainable distribution of kits to every girl, everywhere, period.
$500 will support a women- led Micro-Enterprise with start-up materials including sewing machines, hand snaps, and pre-cut materials for the first round of DfG Kits. And, the support of a global network is invaluable in starting in-country programs.

$1,500 will sponsor a woman to attend Days for Girls University to start her own Micro-Enterprise or Kit Ambassador Business in her community. DfG University equips participants with the business & women's health skill sets that they need to be successful.
