Soroptimist International has been with us from nearly the beginning. Their ongoing support has been a global shift maker, from donations founding Days for Girls Uganda, to ongoing support of Chapters and Teams around the globe and serving as important advocates and in service... Soroptimist 

has been an exceptional partner in bringing more health, dignity and opportunity to women and girls around the world.

Samaritan's Purse is a non-denominational Christian organization providing critical services and programs to people in countries around the world. Samaritan's Purse has contracted the Days for Girls Uganda team to participate in a three-year program that will train 3,000 girls in the remote Karamoja region of Uganda. The girls in this program are trained to sew their own washable pads and learn valuable women's health education from our Ambassador of Women's Health training. Days for Girls Kits are often included in their Christmas Boxes, with a special instructional insert as well.

 

The Honest Company is an eco-friendly, family-oriented company providing all natural products through numerous online and retail locations. The Honest Company is driven by a strong social mission, and has supported Days for Girls both domestically and internationally. In Uganda, The Honest Company made it possible for more than 300 girls to have The Honest Co. hygiene supplies ot stay in school. 10 women to attend DfG University, where they gained skills, knowledge and resources that helped them to launch

5 Micro-Enterprises across the country. Since then, these women have been selling DfG Kits and providing essential health education to girls and women in their communities.

 

Global Health Corps (GHC) is an innovative organization connecting talented young professionals with global health organizations around the world. GHC's mission is "to mobilize a global community of emerging leaders to build the movement for health equity". Days for Girls was fortunate to be selected as a partner  organization for the 2016-2017 fellowship year. Two Fellows worked in our Uganda office to strengthen our program delivery and improve our monitoring & evaluation capacity. Read more about our fellows here.
