The Days for Girls Team is comprised of a powerful network of volunteers around the world. Volunteers bring strong skills, enthusiasm and a much needed support to our work. As an organization we value our volunteer’s contributions greatly.
 
Days for Girls has numerous unpaid internships and volunteer opportunities available to interested individuals and students. To apply for an internship or volunteer position, please fill out the Intern/Volunteer Application.
 

Possible Volunteer & Internship Opportunities:

 

​• Office Positions working closely with the DfG Core Team

• Maintain Days for Girls presence on social media 

• Serve as a Sewing Specialist and help keep quality top notch

• Event Planning:  Planning, organizing, and helping events come together• Graphic Design: promotional material designs, social media content development

• Writing and editing Days for Girls materials for newsletters, blogs, and  promotional pieces

• Help coordinate international volunteers, answer inquiries regarding  sewing and volunteer opportunities.

• Intern with National Days for Girls Centers in Uganda, Kenya or Ghana. Find out more HERE.

Time Commitment:

Hours: A minimum of 10 hours per week

Duration: A minimum of 1 Academic Quarter or 3 months

 

Volunteer Positions

Hours: A minimum of 5 hours per week

Duration: A minimum of 2 months

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of or interest in International Women’s Issues
  • High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
