What are Menstrual Cups?

 

Silicone cups that are flexible and comfortable, containing menses without risk of toxic shock syndrome and holding more than twice the capacity of any tampon on the market. These cups last up to 10 years and can be worn for up to 12 hours, making them ideal for busy women who don't have access to frequent changing facilities. We wish everyone could use them. They are far superior to even our washable kits as far as needing little to no water for a woman to use them. NOTE: Those using them HAVE to be able to wash their hands well and to understand the importance of proper care. IMPORTANT: So far we have found only approximately 3% of the women we serve are able or willing to try them due to cultural constraints. From taboos to mistaken belief that use of items that are inserted will risk ending virginity or break the hymen, the concerns are a barrier for many we serve and we want to meet them where they are so we primarly provide washable kits. Right now primarily professionals choose to try them and then tell their friends how great they are. We have cups available thanks to Ruby Cups, a partner of Days for Girls,  JuJu Cups of Australia and MiLuna of Germany, we have some to offer to some of those we serve. Available at cost.
