Why DfG?
Days for Girls helps women and girls have access to quality menstrual supplies they can count on month after month and year after year. Our washable pads are innovative enough to hold a US Patent. It is uniquely designed to wash with little water and dry quickly. Reported by users worldwide to last 2 - 5 years with proper care.
Achievements
Since DfGAL started recording Kit distributions, we have delivered over 192,000 DfG Kits to girls in 63 countries around the world. During 2019/2020 45,862 DfG Kits were distributed across 44 countries. We currently have 17 Chapters, 92 Teams, 3 School Clubs and 1 Team in Training, across Australia.

Our History
Days for Girls began in Australia in 2012 after Gloria Buttsworth had a visit from her friend, who runs a children's home in northern Uganda. The two got talking about the girls in the home and particularly their hygiene needs. Most of the girls could not afford sanitary products... click for more info
